During the Ukraine war, families are forced to take unimaginable action and that includes having to leave beloved pets. Thankfully, people are trying to help save the animals left behind.

One day while out driving, Love Furry Friends Rescue comes across a little white dog wandering around on a rural dirt road. They can’t believe what they see and wonder how the tiny dog ended up there.

The dog should not be out there in the middle of nowhere, so they stop to try to help. But once they get closer, they realize the dog is a terrified puppy seemingly all alone in the world and surely not safe where he is.

They can catch the little puppy and even though he’s scared he seems relieved to not be alone. They carry him to the car when they snuggle inside for the trip to the vet. He seems to somehow know he’s safe even though he has no reason to trust them.

Once safe at the vet, the dog they are now calling Misha gets his first exam and shots. Worried about what he’s been eating, they want to be sure that he is okay and give him some medication.

He goes through his exam like the trooper he is and then gets a bowl of puppy food, perhaps his first dog food ever. It’s hard to imagine the terrible hardship the puppy went through but he’s on his way to a brighter future now.

Afterward, the sweet little guy gets to go to the pet store and gets all the gear he’ll need. The plan is to find him the perfect loving home, which shouldn’t take too long because he’s such a little cutie.

There is nothing sadder than seeing the suffering of orphaned and abandoned animals. He’s such a young puppy it makes you wonder where the rest of his family is and how he came to be alone.

But thankfully, he’ll never be alone again, and they happened upon him that day. Without their help, he would not have survived much longer out on his own. The tireless work they do to help the dogs is amazing.

We hope you enjoyed this sweet rescue story. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
