When this veterinarian walked into the exam room to perform wellness exams on a litter of 8-week-old rottweiler puppies, one puppy stole his heart.
Dr. Ross has a softness for puppies, especially Rottweilers. He had one while going through veterinarian college and had her for 13 years and they had many adventures together. But sadly, he had to make the hard decision to put her down last year.
So, as he examined the puppies, he was loving his little patients and that he got to spend time with them. It’s clear that he loves Rottweilers and that he was enjoying giving them their exam, shots, and dewormer.
But then during the exam, something started to happen. A red rottweiler puppy stole Dr. Ross’ heart. He asked if the puppy was available and she was! So, without telling his wife, he decided to adopt the puppy and brought it home with him.
Of course, his kids also instantly fell in the love with the puppy and named it Elsa. But, now Elsa had to win over her mom, too. But, when the doctor’s wife saw her playing in her living room for the first time, there was no instantly falling in love with her.
Dr. Ross was convinced that Elsa would win his wife over. And, because he missed his previous rotty so much, he was determined to keep the adorable puppy and train her to fit into their family.
So, Dr. Ross began taking Elsa to puppy training and of course, loved every minute of it. But his wife still seemed to be on the fence and wasn’t yet convinced that Elsa should be part of their family.
You’ll have to watch the entire episode of Vet Life if you want to see how Elsa eventually steals her mom’s heart too. Turns out the adorable puppy is just too irresistible, which makes the kids super happy.
