Golden Retrievers have been one of the most popular breeds in America for many years, usually ranking in popularity only behind Labrador Retrievers and German Shepherds.
This video is the perfect example of why Golden Retrievers are so popular. Even as a puppy, they are so compassionate and empathetic. This puppy’s older companion is having a nightmare, and the puppy seems very concerned about its friend.
As the older dog whines and twitches in its sleep, the puppy gets up and looks lovingly at its companion, wondering what to do. The puppy then looks to the nearby human for advice. Finding none, the puppy cuddles up next to the older dog’s head.
The older dog wakes up, then seems to relax into the puppy’s cuddle.
