When new parents bring their baby home for the first time, they usually ask themselves what will happen when the dog finds the baby out. Will the pooch accept the child as a new member of the pack, or will it be so jealous, that it might actually attack the new center of the owners’ attention? It would seem not every parent wants their pet and child to live together, which is why so many dogs live out their lives in shelters across the country.

We have said this time and again: every kid that has had the pleasure - nay, the honor! - of growing up with a dog does not know how lucky they are! Having a dog is having a best friend that will stay with you for the rest of your life. They are the perfect partners in crime; the two of you will look so darn adorable, whatever mess you made will be forgiven as long as you giggle uncontrollably and the dog flashes those big puppy eyes.

Dude is restlessly awaiting his family to come back from the maternity ward. But lo and behold! It used to be two of them and now there is another sent of a human, a much smaller human though but it is mixed with oil and baby powder. What can this be? Dude instantly plunges his nose into the baby carrier. he looks amazed and yet, so tender. It seems like he cannot unglue himself from the tiny but mysterious creature that arrives and, by the body language of his owner he follows almost piously – it is his new mistress. Look at his eyes! He raises his head and snuggles with the owner’s thigh in search of comfort and approval as if saying: “Am I doing it right, dad?” Of course, you are doing it right Dude, you are one amazing and loving pooch! We are eager to see a sequel to this video showing the two of them together!
