These canine besties moved miles apart so now their owners make sure they stay in touch in the most adorable way.
Sadie and Rollo from Canada became inseparable best friends during the pandemic. But then, Rollo’s owner had to relocate due to their job, which left the dogs missing each other a lot.
After the move, their owners wanted to help ease their loneliness. So, they came up with a clever solution to help the pups stay in contact with each other.
Now, each Thursday the dogs FaceTime each other. And, when they do, their reactions to seeing each other are the most adorable thing to ever cross the airwaves.
Sadie, a husky and German shepherd mix, howls her greetings to Rollo. Rollo, a rottweiler and German shepherd mix, gets excited and whines back at her.
Sadie’s mom, Kayla McTeer, says that even though Sadie is part husky, she’s not much of a howler. She reserves most of her howling for her FaceTime dates with Rollo. Then, she throws her head back and really puts her heart into it.
Rollo is owned by Caitlin Banks. Rollo responds to the calls differently than Sadie. He prefers to loudly cry and whimper while tilting his head at his friend and he gets so excited to see her that it’s as if he’d like to climb through the screen.
It’s clear the two dogs recognize each other. They obviously miss each other and the friendship that they shared.
Their owners are planning a reunion soon, which sounds like so much fun. But in the meantime, the two dogs will have to be satisfied with their Thursday FaceTime meetups.
It’s so awesome that their owners are committed to keeping the dog’s special friendship alive. Their relationship proves that long-distance relationships can work when both pups want them to.
These two dogs are more than cute; we hope their owners share their reunion video. It’s sure to be a loud and happy event full of fun playtime. They are just the sweetest dogs and share such a special relationship.
We hope you enjoyed their cute video. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
