The holidays are always a difficult time but it is that much harder when you're sick. Christmas is an especially magical time for children and a lot of that Christmas cheer is taken away when they have to stay at the hospital for treatment for their illnesses. To help their child patients in the neurology and transplant centres celebrate Christmas, Texas Children's Hospital decided to bring in some cute reinforcement to spread Christmas cheer: 4 golden retrievers named Elsa, Pinto, Pluto and Bailey. The dogs and their handlers even wore matching pyjamas. They definitely cheered up the sweet little children, bringing them and their families some happiness during a trying time.

It is such a noble thing to help those struggling with difficult physical and emotional challenges and to help bring some happiness into their lives in a time of distress.
