He had stopped greeting people because everyone passed his cage by due to his unhealthy appearance. But, then one day, someone showed him she cared and his life changed.
When Lisa walked through the shelter, she saw a dog that needed help. His skin was in such terrible condition that no one wanted to adopt him. He was sad, depressed, and needed someone to save him.
She said you could see how badly Mr. Magoo needed her, so she decided to pull him. Once he knew he was getting out, he instantly perked up and was so glad to have someone care about him.
He happily walked out of the shelter doors and was loaded into her car. Mr. Magoo was finally free but would have a way to go before he was healthy again.
Despite how bad he felt, Mr. Magoo was happy from day one. He was a kind boy and loved people despite all the neglect he’s endured. He was taken to his foster home in Los Angeles to stay with Arielle and another dog.
Arielle has a soft spot for the underdogs, especially the ones that need extra love and care and have skin conditions. So, Mr. Magoo was the perfect fit and she knew just how to nurse him back to health.
Mr. Magoo loved his new home. But, he was so sick that he was mellow and slept most of the time. His skin condition was so bad that it required him to have multiple baths per week, which he really enjoyed.
But then, after the first week, he started to feel better. After that, he slowly kept improving and was soon much healthier and more playful. His adorable personality also came out along with his tongue, which is always just hanging there.
And, they also learned that he loves to eat fruits and vegetables. He thinks they are the best treats so his foster mom makes him fancy charcuterie boards full of his favorite noms. From neglected yard dog to being treated so special, Mr. Magoo is learning what it means to be loved and cared for.
Surely after all this, he will go to the perfect home one day. His rescue story is so sweet and we hope you enjoyed it. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
