When the rescue got a call about a stray puppy that needed rescuing from a war-torn neighborhood, not even the dark of night kept them away.
The Love Furry Friends rescue in Ukraine got a call about a small white puppy that was wandering in the rubble of what was once a neighborhood. So, they quickly went to find the dog, even though it was already dark outside.
With flashlights in hand, they searched for the puppy. Soon, they spotted the scared little dog and were able to catch her and carry her to safety so they could take her to the vet.
It turned out the dog had lived by a busy road for a long time. Despite all the passing cars, she was all alone until they came for her. She didn’t trust people and was afraid to go to anyone, which made her rescue even more difficult.
But despite all that, she was now on her way to a new life. They named her Lucy and even took her shopping at the pet store. They bathed her and gave her lots of love and care. Now that she was eating regular meals and getting the attention that she needed, she began to come out of her shell.
Then they found out that Lucy’s mom was also in the area where Lucy was rescued from. The rescue was sent a picture of the two of them together. So, they drove out there again to see if they could find Lucy’s mom.
They quickly found the dog and took her with them. They were so happy at the thought of reuniting the puppy with her mother. But first, mom needed to see the vet, where she was treated for heartworms and other health problems.
Once mom was feeling better, the happy moment finally came. Mom and Lucy see each other again and the sight will warm your heart. Lucy is overcome with joy at seeing her mom again and can’t stop smiling.
Her mom is uncertain about her situation but begins to eat again with her puppy by her side. It’s as if she’s slowly realizing that she’s going to be okay-things are truly looking up after all the sweet dogs went through.
The two dogs are so cute and happy now. They are more than adorable cuddling up together. It’s impossible not to smile at the way their lives were saved. We hope they can go to their new home together. Please share their sweet reunion with your friends.
