The only thing that Ella the beagle knew was life inside her cage and being used for lab testing.
Then one day, all that changed. She was rescued and she went to live in a foster home that would help her prepare to be adopted. But she was scared of all the things she was experiencing for the first time in her doggy life.
She didn’t know what grass or wind was, had never been on a car ride, and had never even seen a ball before. But her new foster mom was there for her and was going to help her. She made Ella comfortable on the couch and that is where Ella stayed for the next five days.
Ella’s foster had to carry her outside and Ella would shake in fear. There were so many things she’d never seen before that she was overwhelmed. But her foster mom was patient and by her side letting her know she was okay.
Then Five days later, Ella began to come out of her shell. The first thing she tried to do was playfully yank the buttons off the back of the couch. Her mom was so happy to see wanted to play, she had to laugh.
After that, Ella’s fun personality began to come out. She started jumping on her new mom’s back and even began wagging her tail for the first time. Happily, it seemed that Ella was adjusting to her new life and would one day soon be ready for her forever home.
Ella turned out to be a super fun pup. She loved her new toys and was fascinated by her first ball. She liked it so much; her foster mom even got her a huge ball that she loved to chase around the house and bark at.
Then the day came that Ella went to her forever home. Her foster mom shed some tears when they said goodbye but knew Ella was in a loving family. She even had a new beagle friend to play with.
From a sad lab dog to a happy dog with a loving home of her own, Ella’s life started the day she was rescued. Thanks to her rescue, foster mom, and new forever home, Ella is now living the life she deserves.
We hope you loved Ella’s rescue story. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
