Polar bears are one of eight species of bears. They are the largest bear species and also boast the title of being the largest land carnivore. Anyone would agree that polar bears are undoubtedly some of the most majestic creatures on this planet. Their existence is threatened by climate change, which is affecting their habitat and food supply.
The Russian photographer Dmitry Kokh is bringing attention to these amazing animals by photographing them. The photographs show polar bears frolicking in the snow, adeptly swimming in the ocean, and hanging about an abandoned weather station. These photos not only offer us a little window into their wondrous lives but also demonstrate the characters and strength of these majestic beasts.
