When they stopped their truck, they had no idea that a Pitbull would jump in and then refuse to leave.
Emily and Garrett went out to their truck one day and discovered a Pitbull had jumped inside and made himself comfortable. The stray dog was occupying the passenger seat and didn’t appear to be in any rush to leave.
They tried to lure the dog out of the truck but the pup wasn’t having it. So, they did what any caring people would do and brought the dog some food and water. But three hours later, the dog was still in the truck and refusing to budge.
Finally, they were able to coax the dog out and get him into their home. It turned out he was the sweetest guy. They were sure someone must be looking for such an adorable dog but it soon became apparent that no one seemed to be.
By that time, the stray dog had already stolen their hearts and they were more than happy to keep him. Although they didn’t plan to get a dog that day, one that needed them most had somehow found his way to his forever home.
They named the dog Buddy and he was more than happy to be home. The first thing that happened was lots of spoiling, a trip to the pet store to get all the doggy gear he could ever want and need, and to show him that he was home.
Turned out, Buddy was a delightful boy who loved to cuddle and go on walks. He enjoyed the pond, playing, and going on hikes. He was the perfect dog for their family and gave them so much love in return for saving him.
They don’t know why Buddy chose their truck but it seemed they were meant to be a family. The pup was lucky to have picked the right vehicle and the right people to trust and care for him, forever.
We’re so happy that things worked out so well for Buddy and that he found a family who adores him. We’ll never know his past but none of that really matters. What does matter is he is now loved.
We hope you enjoyed his unusual rescue story. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
