Lobo the Siberian Husky knows how to make a big impression at his agility competition.
Lobo is a beautiful dog and as the crowd watches him walk into the show ring, the announcers comment about what type of performance he’ll put on. They speculate how he’ll do just as everyone watching is.
They are about halfway through the competition when it’s Lobo’s turn. He’s a crowd-pleaser and sure to be great. Everyone is looking forward to watching him perform. How will he compare to the competitors that have gone before him?
Lobo struts out into the ring, confident. Can he be fast and clean? Does Lobo have what it takes to be a champion? Will he go home a winner?
Not today. Because on this night, he decides to do it on his own terms and the outcome is hilarious.
From the first jump, Lobo’s off track. He is not feeling it and seems easily distracted. The next couple of jumps go okay but when he gets to the weave poles, he puts on the brakes and seems to go through them in slow motion.
His handler, Alan, tries to encourage him and he glides around the ring casually jumping and taking in the scenery. Lobo’s not concerned about his speed or stealth. He’s more worried about having fun at a leisurely pace.
At one point, he even takes a break to check out what is on a table. His sniffer is blocked by someone so he hops down and then off he goes, another lap around the agility ring. He’s pleased with himself at this point and is simply enjoying himself. Lobo obviously doesn’t care about a blue ribbon.
One of the funniest parts of the evening is listening to the announcers commenting on his performance. They compare him to driving up the coast with the top down and that’s just about what Lobo’s performance is like.
He has some finesse toward the end but it’s just not enough. Although Lobo may not be a winner that day, he sure stole the show. We hope you enjoyed his hilarious performance. As always, please feel free to share it with your friends.
