What would you do to celebrate if you made history and won a Super Bowl? Derrick Nnandi chose an interesting way to celebrate, and it wasn't going to Disney Land!
The 6'1, 317-pound Defensive Tackle is helping homeless dogs get into new homes by paying the adoption fee for dogs currently up for adoption by the KC Pet Project. This is no publicity stunt either. Derrick Nnandi has been helping animals for quite some time thanks to the partnership of the Derrick Nnandi Foundation and the KC Pet Project.
The KCPP had this to say on Facebook:
"KC WINS! We are so excited to announce that the Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle, Derrick Nnadi is choosing to celebrate the Super Bowl win by paying for the adoptions of all the adoptable dogs currently at KC Pet Project!
We have had an amazing, season-long, partnership with Derrick and he couldn't have thought of a better ending.
This partnership has been sponsored by the Derrick Nnadi Foundation. To learn more and to donate today, visit www.dnnadifoundation.org

Derrick Nnandi is just 23 years old. One would have to imagine that the typical person that age would celebrate a feat as big as winning a Super Bowl one hundred different ways before thinking to help out animals. But not Mr. Nnandi!
