This Frenchie was once used for irresponsible breeding. But, thanks to the help of the Asher House, all that pain is now behind her.
Maeve the Frenchie was used for irresponsible breeding. But that life is now in her past. It all began after she was taken to a vet for an emergency c-section that ended up changing the course of her life.
It turned out, at the vet it was determined that her health was such that she needed to be spayed. Since she was no longer a money maker for the owner, she was taken in by one of the vet techs that worked there.
So, at 4 years old, that caring vet tech asked that she could be taken in by Asher House. There, she’ll be able to get the medical care she needs and surgery for a hematoma on her ear. Her rescuer is sad to see her go but knows it’s for the best.
Despite her health problems, Maeve is a happy girl. She loves people and immediately bonded with Lee Asher. She even rested her head on his leg for the hours long drive to her new home at the sanctuary.
They arrived home late so she didn’t get to meet the pack on the first night in her new home. But the next morning, she was carried into the yard where all her new dog friends gathered around her and welcomed her home.
Maeve is more than adorable and so cute meeting the pack. All the dogs were curious about her. Soon she was exploring her new home and getting to know her new friends. What a great first day to start her new life.
Maeve is a lucky pup and will have the best care and life. Despite her hard life, she’ll now get the help she needs, complete with a pack of dogs that will help her heal her mind, body, and spirit.
Maeve didn’t take long to make friends and was soon settled into her new life. She even has a nap buddy to share a nice soft bed with. She is the cutest and we can’t wait to watch all her adventures.
We hope you enjoyed Maeve’s rescue story. She is a true example of how harmful irresponsible breeding truly is. Please share her story to promote adoption and responsible breeding. As always, please feel free to share with your friends.
