In every pet's life, there comes a time when they have to wear the dreaded Cone of Shame. Which is also the Cone of Indignity and the Cone of I-Didn't-Ask-For-This and the Cone of Why-Must-I-Suffer-Like-This. Pets really hate the cone of shame (proper name being Elizabethan collar), and with good reason too: it makes everything harder and uncomfortable. But it's usually on the pets for a reason, and the hoomans won't take it off so they are forced to suffer through this.
